TECHNOLOGIES

FUSED DEPOSITION MODELING

In FDM, an object is built by selectively depositing melted material in a pre-determined path layer-by-layer. The materials used are thermoplastic polymers.

STEREOLITHOGRAPHY

In SLA, an object is created by selectively curing a polymer resin layer-by-layer using an ultraviolet (UV) laser beam. The materials used in SLA are photosensitive thermoset polymers.

DIGITAL LIGHT PROCESSING

Digital Light Processing is a 3d printing process where a projector is used to cure photopolymer resin. Very similar to SLA where the only difference is that instead of a UV laser to cure the photopolymer resin a safelight is used.

SELECTIVE LASER MELTING

SLM/SLS/DMLS uses a variety of alloys, allowing prototypes to be functional hardware made out of the same material as production components. It is possible to design organic geometries, internal features and challenging passages.
